Pide la retirada de la reforma educativa en Colombia

Si vives en Colombia, [puedes ayudar a defender el sistema educativo][1]. El próximo día 10 de noviembre de 2011, la comisión sexta del Congreso realiza la primera de las dos sesiones necesarias para aprobar la reforma a la Ley 30.

Escribe a nuestros representantes políticos en el Congreso de Colombia a través de este sencillo formulario y pídeles la retira del proyecto de ley que reforma la educación superior, más conocido como la “Ley 30″. Si miles de personas lo pedimos claro y con argumentos no podrán silenciarnos.

Desde la [Mesa Ampliada Nacional Estudiantil][2] (MANE), las y los estudiantes de este país exigimos al Congreso de la República de Colombia: ¡Ni reforma, ni Ley 30, queremos construir una ley de manera colectiva!. Súmante al movimiento estudiantil, escribe a todos los congresistas con educación y respeto, de manera muy sencilla, pídeles que detengan la ley y que abran un proceso participativo.

Les cuento que en el Rincón del Mar hubo ayer un incendio(1). Casi toda la punta norte se quemó.
33 viviendas se quemaron por completo. Un hotel, el único ecológico, y 4 casas mas de recreo.

En Medellín vamos a hacer una colecta para cosas básicas necesarias:

-Al rededor de 98 niños y niñas de todas las edades, desde bebes hasta 15 años necesitan ropa. (ropa de clima caliente, caribe, ropa interior, pareos, telas, camisetas, shorts, faldas, bermudas, telas frescas de algodón)
- Ropa para adultos también, mujeres y hombres. Todas las tallas
- Ütiles de cocina: cucharas, cubiertos, ollas, pipetas de gas, fogones de gas, neveras,
-Telas para improvisar carpas. Carpas.

Habrá un puesto de recolección en el MAMM, Ciudad del Río.

Este domingo salimos para el rincón varias personas. Quienes sepan de bioconstrucción, construcción ecológica, construcciones de emergencia, propnesr materiales para llevar, herramientas y animo a la gente a que vayamos. Lleven carpa.

Para construcción de, vivienda de emergencia (base o estructura para casa, en pilotes), baños secos, tanques de recolección de agua lluvia, piletas de agua construcción con botellas, materiales para techos “verdes”. Si alguien conoce gente que venda madera inmunizada y que puedan hacer una donación, materiales livianos, ecológicos.
Si se va a reconstruir que se piense en hacerlo bien: Sostenibilidad ambiental=calidad de vida=seguridad alimentaria.

En la fiesta de la bodega estuve ayudando a Panetone, como puente, ya que no había conexión RCA al videobeam. Hicimos toda una puesta en abismo.
“Ciudad Bolivar”. Me gustó mucho ese set, donde pude usar clips grabado ese mismo día durante el evento.
Salió bien bonito, lástima no haber grabado el set. La pasé bastante bien con Brolin del “unloquer”, además me ayudó mucho ese día.

También estuve en el video campamento, en el taller de reciclaje electrónico y en “Hazlo sonar”. A propósito, con el Unloquer.

Les rencontres internationales Estive Numérique ont eu lieu l’été 2010 à 100 km de Nice, sur les terres de Péone, à plus de 1800 mètres daltitude sur les derniers espaces agricoles cultivables avant la haute montagne. Ces terres ont été cultivées jusqu’au la moitié du 20 éme siècle, et sont actuellement dédiées aux randonneurs et aux troupeaux des derniers bergers. Autarcie et autonomie à l’age numérique, patrimoine et développement, artisanat numérique et industrie, démocratie numérique, énergies et environnement sont les thèmes principaux des ateliers, conférences, expositions et présentations qui animeront ces rencontres.

CONTEXTUAL BACKGROUND for this AETHER9 presentation:

Quartier des Spectacles / Café Cléopâtre / SAT

Montréal’s downtown “entertainment district” (Quartier des Spactacles), has over the last 4 years taken on the proportions of gigantic project for urban spatial control. Site of numerous state-funded mega-festivals for over 30 years, the downtown area around Place des Arts is a constant site of tension between Montréal’s famed Red Light district, Chinatown, space-hungry UQÀM, and the downtown core. The Société des arts technologiques (the SAT), site of our performance on May 26th, is a new kid on the block, holding less sway and way less funding than others. Since the Ville de Montréal decided to bulldoze many of the parks, empty lots, and underused green spaces to remake the zone (between St-Laurent and Bleury, Ste-Catherine and de Maisonneuve) into a kind of Modernist
“KulturPlatz”, numerous changes have occurred on the urban landscape. As with the 1976 Olympics, removal of spaces for the homeless (and hence removal of the homeless), “sanitation” and general “moral clean-up” has taken place, threatening many less institutional places of cultural production with closure, extortion, arson, or expropriation. One such place is the storied Café Cléopâtre, a cabaret bar featuring drag and transsexual artists and performers for decades. Cléopâtre asked to be part of the Council that will oversee the Quartier des Spactacles, but was refused entry since its programming did not reflect the desired PR of the City’s renewal plan. Now, the Quartier des Spactacles is overseen by a group of institutional cultural organizations which decide on the use, appearance, and future of this entire area of Montréal as a place whose sole intention is
SPECTATORSHIP, CONSUMPTION, and the ever-tightening control of the citizen as consumer.

I found interesting this presentation in this place because those days wa the oppening of a guge horrible comercial center in my city, Medellín. People here movilize for that kind of things. Again a place for comsumption. But when there are tragedies like massive kills in the country, in the periferical neibourghoods no body reacts. Nothing happens, like if all that kind of thing still unreality for them like things on TV.

I want to protest about all the buildings they are rising everywhere in my city and no enough places for culture, only sistematic comercial places.

So it is very interesting that Audrey and Chris developped the patch for PD and for mobil devices. It is still for ameliorations but it worked!

Since 2005 I have beeing working in a place located in north colombian coast, at the caribean coast. Well, I do not pass all the year there, but I go around three times on the year.

It started like a documentary that I’m still filming, but it becomes  engagement.

Now I’m thinking about how to make it became an artistic, cientific, humanist and ecological aproach, it is already that, but now that I realize this I will try to change and sculp the idea.

members will at last meet in physical space

evolution of the project, develop technical applications, and re-

cross-platform and ‘remote’ performance enabling streaming of audio and
visual material to a nomadic HTML interface. From vastly separated
sources, the live performances and video streams will take you to ‘the

Munich, Germany.
On September 2009, I decide to join a call for a project working on this Theater experiment, transmiting audio from Medellín via skype. Where artist located in different places, dont knowing each other, where trying to built in 7 days a dispositif to display a video-sound-comunication-avatar-actors-performace all this called New Theater.
It was really chaotic because remote participants, like me, could hardly understand what was happening. We couldn’t have a real feed back from the scene, or someone on location directing the rehersals.
I was trying to have fun, finding senses and enjoing chaos in a way. But it was hard because there was not really a feedback. So it was really crazy. Anyway there where some moments of interesting sounds and delirius skype conversations.
I wish at least people keep in contact for further performances or tests. Maybe one day it will work better.

NUEVOS MEDIOS; TRES FORMULAS: (SONIDO, VIDEO y REDES)

El término “nuevos medios” es algo que ya puede considerarse vieja guardia. La era digital ya lleva varios decenios produciendo herramientas como lo hacen los conejos. Los usuarios las modifican y adaptan gracias a los códigos abiertos, pero la mayoría se limitan a sus posibilidades. Estas herramientas pueden llegar a ser tan alienantes como potenciadoras de nuevas propuestas. La red tiene sus limitantes, sabemos que un día puede colapsar. ¿Qué posibilidades tiene hoy la transmisión de sonido en tiempo real? ¿Qué tanto control se tiene de las creaciones colectivas espontáneas usando las redes sociales? ¿Es posible hablar de nuevas narrativas audiovisuales sin que se personalicen las herramientas digitales que se usan? Concretamente, una visita a los orígenes de la transmisión y creación sonora en el cine (orígen de la narración audiovisual) y la transmisión por señal radiofónica y telegráfica, nos darán luces para entender cómo van evolucionando las nuevas tendencias de creación de sonido-video , creación colectiva y transmisión en vivo.
